August Updates

Well world, we are 287 days away from the big day! We are definitely getting things together a little more. This past Sunday we went to the Beautiful Bride bridal show. We won a free treatment at American Laser! Woo..! I'll be reducing my cellulite. We also got a fantastic deal on a DJ and figured out who will be performing our ceremony; Kristin's father will be marrying us! Tonight we are going to go check out food trucks at the local StrEATS festival and pick up my wedding dress! Party time! That's all the updates for now, have a fantastic weekend!

Hawaii Vacation

First of all, I have to give warning to everyone.  I've been thinking up a few bad jokes to go into this post.  Feel free to groan whenever you feel like it.  Anyway, here's the post on our vacation.


Recently, Lisa and I went to Hawaii for her sister's graduation.  We were both very proud of her, and we are fully ready to support her in her life.  We'll support her life goals, and her weight (pictured below).  

Also while we were there, we had a shoot planned for our wedding swimsuit calender (not an actual thing).  Mother nature, however, didn't agree with our plans, as you can see.

Maybe we'll still make a calender of it (still not a real thing), who knows.  But we had a lot of fun with family while we were on vacation, and we look forward to many years of many more vacations with each other.

Travel Information

Our closest airport is McCarran International Airport (LAS).
We have a room block set up with The Golden Nugget. Room Rates are:
$55 for Thursday 5.23.13
$119 for Friday 5.24.13
$119 for Saturday 5.25.13
$55 for Sunday 5.26.13
The Golden Nugget is located on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. It is newly renovated and has an awesome pool! To get these rates, please contact one of us or our parents for the code. These rates are good until 4.1.13
There are shuttles that run from the airport to The Golden Nugget for about $7/person.

1 year and 5 days...

We have one year and five days until we get married!!!! We came to a bit of a stall in wedding stuff when school picked up these past few months. But here's where we are:
-We ordered save-the-dates tonight! We used the gift card we won last year, thanks to your voting!
-We are going to double check our location this coming weekend for weather and crowds and perfection.
-We have almost everything planned to the dot.
-We are in the process of getting room blocks at the Golden Nugget.
-We decided to ask my Dad and Julie plan a surprise honeymoon for us!

All the things!

Hey world!

So, there are 453 days left until the wedding! And we have all but 2 center pieces, the beginnings of two bouquets and a few other things here and there. We also purchased some table clothes, but are having a hard time finding what we want. So we're feeling a little discouraged. BUT all is well! I got an email today about wedding coloring books. And what's better than wedding coloring books?? Wedding coloring tables!!! We're going to buy a pretty cream colored roll of butcher paper and cover the tables in it. Then we'll supply cute little cans of crayons on each table. AND I'M SO EXCITED!
